At Arete, children and young people work in a team, building communication and teamwork skills. The projects they work on help trigger their critical thinking, creativity, and work ethic.
Arete for Tech
Arete teaches children coding, design, analytical, and writing skills. Our team stays current on the latest technology and provides a professional curriculum for all the teaching services we offer.
Our Story
Where did it all start? Take a walk with Arete on our Journey so far.
In December 2019, Abisola, Ifihan, Chioma (Omar), and Maryann came up with an idea to help children and students learn soft skills. Omar gave the name aretḗ, a Greek word for "excellence." The founders talked to some mutual friends, and Arete kicked off.
Together, the founders, well-wishers, and volunteers have impacted over a thousand children and students across Nigeria by hosting free training, outreaches, and boot camps on digital and soft skills.
